Market 707’s claim to fame is that it is Toronto’s first and only retail market wherein every vendor operates out of their own shipping container: an initiative launched by the Scadding Court Community Centre whose goal with the market is to bring together a large variety of local entrepreneurs to serve up many different types of international street food, services, and other unique goods to create a shopping experience in the city that is totally different. Since 2009, Market 707 has been a favourite destination for Torontonians all over the city.
