About the Restaurant

Madame Boeuf and Flea is Anthony Rose's summer destination for a little eating and a little shopping. In his own words, Rose calls Madame Boeuf's backyard barbecue food "stupid simple." The menu is comprised of classic favourites, like burgers loaded with toppings, cheese fries with a house-made cheese sauce, shrimp cocktails and ice cream from Ed's Real Scoop. The outpost is a no-frills, colourful outdoor spot decorated with vintage licence plates and music posters, with lawn games to play scattered across the space. The extensive drinks menu stays in theme of being fun and casual. If you're into super local and interesting craft brew beers, Madame Boeuf and Flea has some on deck. Conversely, if you just want to enjoy frozรฉ (a slushy made from rosรฉ wine) and be left alone about it, this is the spot. Madam Boeuf is able to make all your usual cocktail favourites plus Coke and root beer floats. Stay after your meal to peruse the little flea market, so you can go home full and with a little something extra.
