The first GTA outpost of the beloved Ottawa bagel brand, Kettleman’s Bagel Co. is known for its Montreal-style bagels, which are made fresh daily. The bagels are hand-rolled, boiled in honey water to seal in moisture, and baked in a wood-burning oven. This traditional preparation technique gives the bagels their signature soft centre and slightly crispy crust. Like the brands’ Ottawa location, the Etobicoke location features a “no-wall experience,” offering customers a view of the fresh bagels being made. Kettleman’s menu includes over a dozen classic bagel types, such as whole wheat, herb and cheddar and all dressed, as well as cream cheese spreads in creative flavours like olive or hot pepper. Kettleman’s also offers bagel sandwiches and baked goods like turnovers and cinnamon buns.
