Karbouzi
North York, ON M5M 4A6
Restaurant Categories
Karbouzi has been serving up some Mediterranean cuisine in a fun and festive tavern since 1970. In Greek, Karbouzi means โwatermelonโ which fits the large logo on the wooden sign at the restaurantโs front entrance. Behind the blue-clad door frames and outdoor seating, this North York restaurant serves up authentic souvlaki on a stick, on a pita or on its own. Other savoury Greek dishes on the menu include spanakopita, moussaka, loukaniko, and gyros on a pita. The inside of Karbouzi recreates the buildings of Greece with blue walls and exposed brick. The wooden banister staircase at the front of the restaurant leads to a bar surrounded by TV screens, providing a casual and comfortable space for dinners to enjoy a glass of wine with their meals.
