About the Restaurant

Four Four South Village has a mission to serve the best Taiwanese beef noodles to overseas Chinese people around the world, and thankfully that now includes Toronto. Taking its name from the military dependants village in Taipei that was best known for originating the beloved beef noodle soup, Four Four South Village is striving for excellency. Using locally sourced Angus beef and Canadian wheat flour, this Taiwanese noodle house is not messing around. Welcomed immediately upon arrival, you'll be seated at one of the many communal picnic tables. The brick walls make the interior quite industrial, but some Taiwanese-inspired touches and hanging lanterns help to brighten and warm the space. The menu extends to other Taiwanese classics, such as the Szechuan dan dan noodles in a spicy peanut sauce, to an assortment of delicious sides, including fan favourites like golden kimchi or beef rolls.
