Boxcar Social is a Toronto staple when it comes to cafes. This coffee shop by day, cocktail bar by night concept exists in four locations across the city. The Harbourfront location was built in partnership with Toronto's Harbourfront Centre who took their concept to the next level by adding a well-crafted food menu and expanding the size of the space.

This location sits right on Toronto's waterfront. The outdoor patio is massive and overlooks Lake Ontario. The industrial interior is filled with long communal tables, high tops and an elongated bar that spans across the back of the restaurant. The dark walls are livened up with plants and eclectic art including a huge mural of several birds.

During the day, Boxcar Social Harbourfront is a booming cafe with a ton of baked goods and pastry options. This location also has a full lunch menu featuring dishes like a savoury ratatouille melt and harissa chicken salad. At 5 p.m. the space changes over to a wine and cocktail bar. The dinner menu is meant to be enjoyed while drinking. They have a ton of bar snacks like baked brie and charcuterie options. They also have a few larger options, like a striploin steak, burger and house-made fettuccine with Pacific white shrimp.
