About the Restaurant

Situated right across from the Dundas Street entrance to Toronto's beloved Trinity Bellwoods Park, sits Bellwoods Coffee and Gelato. Once a baking school, this corner cafรฉ is the perfect spot to get a pick me up on your way to the park or a treat for the way home. The cafรฉ is split into two rooms. The larger of the two houses the coffee machine and baked goods from Saving Mondays along with some of Bellwoods's own homemade treats. The seating area here is usually full of studying students and from-home workers typing away on their laptops and sipping super-silky lattes. When you walk down a ramp into the smaller room, you'll find the gelato shop. Here you can find the long list of flavours written on a chalkboard and a list of sizes and pricing behind the glass case of icy Italian desserts. There are some pretty creative flavours here, like the cilantro lime, which is just as refreshing as it sounds, and some classics too, like the always delightful chocolate hazelnut. All in all, Bellwoods Coffee and Gelato is the perfect spot for a scoop and sip to make your park day extra special.
