Tucked away underneath the bustling Terroni Price Street location sits Bar Centrale, a casual, yet refined wine bar serving traditional Italian cuisine with a modern twist. Bar Centrale is a common ground for Rosedale dwellers as it opens its doors at 7 a.m., serving a delightful breakfast and brunch on the weekends. The wine bar's rules are a little less strict than the upstairs establishment because, as you will be told at the door, it's a different restaurant. Unlike Terroni, which serves solely southern Italian classics, Bar Centrale takes its influence from other parts of Italy and makes use of seasonal Canadian ingredients. It also carries a multitude of Italian wines from almost every region around Italy, all imported from their personal wine agent.
