Aragvi is one of the only places in Toronto serving up true Georgian cuisine, and we can’t get enough. Tucked away in a strip mall behind an unassuming sign sits this small, yet mighty restaurant serving the most traditional Georgian cuisine outside of the small country. This culinary mix of western and eastern European flavours is as bold and delicious as it sounds. With menu hits like the tender chicken shish kebabs or the unique and extraordinary adjarian khachapuri, a Georgian-style cheese bread made with eggs, there is something for everyone. Head chef Boris Pasternak has 40 years of culinary training under his belt and has been celebrated as the chef who brought Georgian cuisine to our city. If that doesn’t make you want to try this place, we don’t know what will!
