About the Restaurant

The AGO is the only building in Canada designed by Frank Gehry, and his plans included the set up for this restaurant. Be it for brunch, lunch, dinner or drinks, AGO Bistro will delight museum visitors with its quality fresh ingredients all sourced locally. Executive chef Renรฉe Bellefeuille bases her menu on what the special art exhibitions are featuring, to enhance and complete the entire gallery experience. And after spending over 20 years in some of this city's best and most respected kitchens, Bellefeuille is something of an artist herself. The tomato and watermelon salad with whipped Ontario feta, spicy greens, preserved lemon, Moroccan black olives and torn sourdough croutons is a rainbow bowl to salivate over. Prix fixe menus are available for lunch and dinner, and a good time is guaranteed no matter the time or how big the dining party is.
