Restaurant 3030 Dundas West is a hotbed of culture in the ever-more-happening Junction. The cavernous space is a bit of everything: a bar, restaurant, art gallery and concert hall rolled into one. Paintings from local artists โ like cool cat Nick Sweetman โ oversee patrons downing local brews and tucking into eats before heading to the back room to take in a show. The kitchen at 3030 is helmed by Adisa Glasgow, former Grand Electric sous. He turns out proper dinner plates in addition to various $5 snacks, which are available until midnight. The sandwiches are always spot-on: the pigtail torta is a stellar choice. Fried pigtail is doused in some spicy mayo, meeting tomato, lettuce and pickled onion between two rounds of Trini fried bread. Just donโt expect to pick this โwich up โ a knife and fork are required.
