After a major revamp last fall, the financial district’s Reds Wine Tavern is set to expand with a second downtown location. The new restaurant, which is expected to open in late summer or early fall, will be located at the massive Aura condominium currently under construction at Yonge and Gerrard.

McMillan Design, the firm behind the Adelaide location’s makeover, will also be designing the new venue. The size, look and feel will be similar to the Adelaide location, with some adjustments to suit the new neighbourhood.

Specific details regarding the chef and the menu are still in development, but we’re told that the Aura location will continue to focus on sharing plates to cater to the after-work crowd.
