Due to their casual nature, sneakers are often pegged as “trendy,” but there’s more to them than meets the eye. We visited the Bata Shoe Museum for its new exhibition, Out of the Box: The Rise of Sneaker Culture, which explores how sneakers have found their place as one of the most fashionable styles of footwear to date.
