Hey, Barbie dolls! Â It’s time to get dolled up in your pinkest, glitziest outfits, because a dazzling Barbie-themed drag brunch is coming to downtown Toronto!
The same group behind Karen’s Diner, is promising an electrifying show like no other. Embracing the fabulousness of the iconic Mattel character, the one-of-a-kind event is promising to be the chance to embrace your inner doll and become a Barbie girl.
“We wanted to create an evening that celebrates individuality, self-expression and the magic of drag performance,” reads the press release from Explore Hidden. “The Barbie theme perfectly captures the essence of glamour, beauty and empowerment, and we can’t wait to share this unforgettable experience with our audience.”
The afternoon’s itinerary includes performances from some sensational drag performers, who are poised to take on the Barbie theme with a fierce and fashionable twist.
“The stage will ignite with energy as these dazzling entertainers bring their larger-than-life personalities and show-stopping acts to life,” reads the release.
The venue, too, is set to become a veritable pink wonderland, permeating with shades ranging from hot and magenta to bubble gum to make feel like you’ve been transported to Barbie’s Malibu Dreamhouse.
Every corner of the space  will be adorned with glittering decorations, photo walls, and visuals ensuring every moment is Instagram-worthy.
The Barbie-themed drag brunch will take place October 14 and 15 at an undisclosed location on Chestnut Street. Tickets are $60 per person and include brunch and a themed drink.
