This week, the City of Toronto’s newest approach to helping the restaurant industry recover from the effects of COVID-19 is all set to launch.
First announced on July 29, DineTOgether is a free program that takes place from Friday, Sept. 17 to Sunday, Oct. 3, 2021. The program aims to showcase the breadth and diversity of Toronto’s restaurants while encouraging residents to support local eateries through a DineTOgether feature menu available through takeout, delivery, patio dining and/or indoor dining.
All of the participating restaurants are offering a two-item/two-course feature menu consisting of a main dish and either an appetizer/starter or a dessert.
Pricing structures vary, but follow the following format:
- $15 to $50 in $5 increments ($15, $20, $25, $30, $35, $40, $45 or $50)
- Price is per person and excludes beverages, taxes, and gratuity
