Guy Rawlings is opening an event space and “food lab” in the west end

Chef Guy Rawlings, who has spent time in kitchens such as Cowbell, Lucien and, most recently, Bellwoods Brewery, is opening a food-centric event space in the west end. Rawlings piqued curiosity over the weekend by tweeting that he had signed a lease for a new project.

According to The Grid, the new space will not be a restaurant (Rawlings clarified that he’s “never going to open a restaurant”), rather, it will be an event space and “food lab” where he can experiment and collaborate with other chefs.

The exact location hasn’t been revealed yet, but The Grid reports that it will be west of Dufferin, between Dundas and Queen, and will it open for food events, fundraisers and other such gatherings.
