Sassafraz, Globe Bistro and Starfish are just a few of the 77 GTA restaurants participating Wednesday night in a fundraiser for the Fife House, which provides housing and support services for people living with HIV/AIDS.
The event, called A Taste For Life, will see participating restaurants donate 25 per cent of proceeds to the charity.
At Sassafraz, the menu includes a terrine of wild boar, seared black cod, and spice-rubbed grilled bison rib-eye.
Throughout the evening, some restaurants will host entertainment and contests while others will have guest hosts – mayoral candidate George Smitherman will make an appearance at Mercatto on Bay.
