Here’s some unfortunate news for lovers of fried chicken (which means pretty much everybody): Leslieville’s Paulette’s Original Donuts and Chicken is closing this Sunday. The upside is that a new location of Delica Kitchen will open at the Paulette’s space later this summer.
Devin Connell, a partner at both Delica and Paulette’s, said in an email that more effort will be placed on wholesale production of Paulette’s doughnuts, due to demand. The doughnuts will continue to be available at both locations and online.
The new Delica Kitchen is slated to open by late August.
