Little Anthony’s takes on chef Garth Legree

The financial district’s Little Anthony’s is getting a bit of Splendido mojo with chef Garth Legree, who will be taking over the kitchen next week. With Legree at the helm, Little Anthony’s is looking to pare down its menu to focus on quality, and it also plans to have all of its pastas made in-house. Legree spent about two years at Splendido, and he also earned accolades during his most recent stint at The County General.

Legree is taking the reins from outgoing chef Aaron Foster. Meanwhile, The County General seems well-equipped to deal with Legree’s departure: it will be bringing in Danai Hongwanishkul, currently sous chef at Canoe, to fill his shoes.
