Hidden in the basement space under the financial district’s The Loose Moose is The Antler Room, a sprawling bar devoted to both sports and music. After the chime of five, Leafs fans tumble in, watching the game on big screens visible from every table. On the weekend, however, it’s all about the music: local bands take to the stage and up the noise factor aplenty.
Keeping with the music theme, each beverage on the cocktail menu is named after a Willie Nelson tune. In a rather surprising combination, the It’s a Sin ($9) features Sauza Hornitos tequila shaken with peppermint schnapps, coconut cream, crème de cacao and vanilla sugar to boot.
Who says you can’t have a cocktail while watching the playoffs or rocking out?
