Fresh, Toronto’s most well-recognized vegetarian restaurant chain, has been encouraging Torontonians to eat healthier since 1999. Now that it’s opening up shop on Eglinton, we asked head chef/co-owner Jennifer Houston to share her All Star salad with us.
“This is the best-selling salad on our menu, every season of the year,” she says. “The combination of kale and quinoa with the warm sweet potato and tofu steaks is simply delicious.”
Houston recommends pairing it with Fresh’s house dressing, but the dish works with other dressings, too.
