Drake is dropping new album Scary Hours 3 tonight at midnight

Drake surprises fans with a sudden announcement of his new album Scary Hours 3 that will be released at midnight tonight.

Following the release of the “First Person Shooter” music video with J. Cole, Drake took to Instagram to release a surprise trailer.

The video features shots of Toronto’s Roy Thomson Hall, where Drake reflects on his previous album, released just a few weeks ago, For All the Dogs, expressing confidence and pride. Despite earlier comments about taking a break, Drake walks through the concert hall, claiming the new album’s songs were written in the last five days. The trailer ends with an ominous orchestral score, setting the tone for the upcoming release tonight at midnight EST.

Drake also makes it clear these aren’t songs from the editing room floor patched together into an album to make a few extra bucks.

“Its not like I’m picking up from some unfinished s–t,” he says in the video, explaining that he hadn’t written one bar of any song appearing on the new album, it’s all new and it’s all happened since the last album drop just weeks ago. “It’s happening on its own,” he adds.

Also the hometown promoter, Drake teamed up with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra for his release video in which the TSO led byย Music Director Gustavo Gimeno performs a snippet of Giuseppe Verdi’s Overture “La forza del destino.”

Everything is coming up Drake these days, as just recently, the Toronto-born and beloved rapper also made news with four Grammy Award nominations.
