Last week, The Bay introduced another Canadian exclusive: the Diane von Furstenberg Home Collection. The U.S. fashion designer who gave us the iconic wrap dress is now bringing her colourful and bold prints to the kitchen and bedroom.
Accent pillows, kitchen plates and bathroom accessories are featured in such sets as “urban jungle,” “rainbow garden,”, and “floral batik.” The bedding is already available at The Bay’s Queen Street location and full collections will be available in May. Prices are reasonable for the chic housewares: tabletop items run from $29-$155; duvet covers, blankets, sheets, shams and throw pillows, in cotton twill and sateen, range from $100 to $395.
The collection’s dazzling colours of green, yellow, blue, and purple will surely brighten up your house this spring.
In other von Furstenberg news, her first perfume since 1975 will apparently be launching this fall. We’re not sure if it’ll be coming to Toronto, but there may be some extra room on the shelves for it.
