A grey sedan crashed directly into the front doors of the Pusateri’s gourmet food shop at the corner of Bay Street and Yorkville Avenue this morning leaving the entryway in shambles.
The Toronto Fire Services arrived on the scene and quickly cleared away the damaged vehicle. According to a representative at Pusateri’s, the store is currently back open for business.
“While there is considerable damage to the Café seating area storefront, we are so grateful that no one was injured,” a spokesperson from Pusateri’s told StreetsofToronto. “Thanks to the quick response of emergency services, the situation was quickly restored to normal. Our Cafè seating area will be closed to undergo repairs, the rest of the Yorkville store is otherwise open as usual for our guests.”
