Summer Academy at BSS is an exciting opportunity to get ahead, catch up or discover
a new passion. We welcome students of all genders from independent and public schools
to participate. Credit Courses are a condensed, in-person program that offers motivated
students the opportunity to earn an OSSD credit in less than four weeks through a fast-
paced reach-ahead curriculum. Academic Skills sharpen essential skills in math, French
and writing. Through STEMGirls, engage in projects that develop skills in design thinking,
construction, coding and more using a variety of hands-on tools in our fully equipped
Design Technology Lab. Voices of Leadership is presented in partnership with Porter’s
Center for Global Leadership. Students participate in interactive programming to explore
values and beliefs, identify strengths, and learn tools to solve the issues facing local
schools, communities and the world.
