Toronto’s Best Thanksgiving Dinners

Chef Anthony Rose fills in for our resident chef Mark McEwan and tucks into some of the city’s best prepared turkey dinners. This year maybe sit back and let the pros handle Thanksgiving dinner.

“Someone took their time: that’s a gorgeous-looking bird,” said Rose as he carved into the succulent turkey from McEwan Catering. The brussels sprouts with bacon and caramelized onions were also given high praise. 38 Karl Fraser Rd., $28.12/pp
“This is actually the best stuffing out of the bunch,” said Rose of Pickle Barrel’s stuffing with cranberry and herbs. He was also happy to see a sweet potato mash on the plate. 5941 Leslie St., $28.99/pp
“The cranberry sauce looks nice and chunky and homemade,” said Rose of everyone’s favourite turkey topping. “Classic, simple, exactly what you would expect from a catered Thanksgiving meal.” 446 Summerhill Ave., $32.99/pp
“Turkey is spot-on, nice seasoning, crusty and gorgeous with all the stuff on the outside,” said Rose, and added that the “cranberry tastes like Christmas,” which we can only assume is a good thing. 2901 Bayview Ave., $37.50/pp
