If you’re looking for a place to play Battleship, sip on a fancy latte by a fire and enjoy some good brunch, Snakes & Lattes is the place for you.
The popular board game cafe quickly shot to fame, as it was one of the first of its kind to open in the city. And, now, they are expanding their offerings again, decorating the board games on the shelved walls with the wafting smell of an inviting brunch menu.
Every Saturday and Sunday, Snakes & Lattes’ brunch menu–which includes a breakfast croque madame, a ramen omelette and a loaded tofu scramble bowl peppered among more traditional options like avocado toast and baby pancakes–is served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Annex and College St. locations (brunch is not available at the large midtown location).
Notably, the menu includes a dish that can be served for two or for four, the Spam Breakfast Sandwich. Made in a sweet roll, the sandwich is stuffed with chipotle mayo, marinated arugula, crispy spam and fried eggs, then finished with chives and green onions.

Unique cocktails like the Tequila Forming Mars and the Orange-inal Prankster meet traditional options like caesars and mimosas. Of course, the experience wouldn’t be appropriately named without specialty coffees, so Snakes & Lattes also crafts espresso bar beverages like a nutella latte, a matcha latte, a flat white and a turmeric latte alongside traditional cappuccinos, espressos and hot chocolates.
Of course, all of this deliciousness is available over a heated game of Connect Four or Guess Who. Snakes & Lattes’ Annex outpost is at 600 Bloor St. W., and the College St. outpost is located at 489 College St.
