Dr. Nigel Pereira is a Clinician-Investigator and Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Mount Sinai Fertility and the University of Toronto. He obtained his medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar in 2010 and completed his residency at Drexel University College of Medicine in 2014. Dr. Pereira further specialized with a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Weill Cornell Medical College in 2017. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology and holds sub-specialty certification in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Dr. Pereira has published over 120 research papers in leading scientific journals, with interests in IVF outcomes, reproductive surgery, fertility preservation, oocyte freezing, and the long-term health of IVF children.
