This weekend Toronto has headliner after headliner performing shows. On Friday, Belleville’s own Avril Lavigne is continuing her “Bite Me” tour while Santan Dave comes overseas from Streatham to continue his global tour for “We’re All Alone in This Together.” On Saturday, popular Iranian singer Googoosh takes centre stage at Meridian Hall while French rapper Booba attempts to shut down Rebel on Sunday.

The 51st Juno Awards are being held this Sunday at Budweiser Stage. For the first time ever, the show will be broadcast and streamed from an outdoor venue at 8 p.m. Very well known for his roles in Shang Chi and Kim’s Convenience, Liu will be joined on-stage by musical performances from Arkells, Arcade Fire and many more.
