We’re back with another terrific set of Christmas festivals and markets for this coming weekend. Join Santa, Rudolph and the rest of the reindeer around the city as we prepare for an extra special Christmas. Here are five Christmas markets for you to visit this weekend. Make sure to bundle up! Holiday Fair in the Square


Running from Dec. 2-23, Holiday Fair in the Square is turning Nathan Phillips Square into a full-blown winter wonderland. The square will be lit up by some festive light installations and Toronto’s own 60-foot-tall Christmas tree, giving you a winter carnival feel (and free entry too!). Get your Christmas shopping done at a selection of over 70 artisan vendors, or bring your family for a fun afternoon of skating, rides, games and delicious food! For the night dwellers, head over to the Polar Point Bar for a naughty drink of mulled wine, hot apple cider, beer and more. Holiday Fair in the Square is the perfect holiday event for all, giving everyone a chance to enjoy the magical spirit of Christmas. And it’s all for a good cause. Paint Night – Northern Trees


Fresh Paint Studio Danforth East is hosting a holiday-themed paint night which gives guests the opportunity to paint the Northern Lights and pine trees! Guests will be guided step-by-step by artistic experts, ensuring you create your own representation of some of Canada’s most iconic imagery. Christmas Night MRKT by Nickel Brook Brewery


Nickel Brook Brewery is hosting a super fun night market for all, including pooches! Well-known for its punchy IPAs, Nickel Brook is hosting over 20 local vendors who are looking to sell products for the gift-giving season for your spouse, kids, and doggos. Ugly sweater wearers will be given a discount in the taproom. The event runs from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. and is located on The Queensway in Etobicoke.
